Journalists in the United States covering the court beat can participate in a free program.
Pennsylvanians for Modern Courts is hosting its One-Day Law School for Journalists. This is an intensive program designed to support journalists and others in the media who face the challenge of reporting on the court system without a law degree.
Although this program was designed for journalists, it is open to all who are interested.
The program covers topics on the court structure, the lawyer's guide to legalese, Criminal Law 201, judicial conduct and misconduct, and more.
The virtual event will be held July 18.
