Journalists, filmmakers, writers, photographers and storytellers from any African country can apply for a virtual fellowship.

Minority Africa, a digital publication using data driven multimedia journalism to tell African stories, is accepting applications for the Minority Africa Fellowship.

Through the intensive six-month program, fellows will polish their existing reporting abilities both from a skill and thematic perspective, but will also be trained on the intersecting areas and groups of focus for the fellowship.

This training program includes modules on solutions journalism, data journalism, inclusive futures, the geopolitics of climate change, and more.

Fellows will receive a monthly allowance, an internet stipend and intra-country travel related to their coverage of stories.

The fellowship runs from May to October.

The application deadline is April 24.
