The Arab Reporters for Investigative Journalism (ARIJ) is hosting the first webinar of the new “Sa7” project, launched by the Arab Fact-Checkers Network (AFCN).
With the support of the “Qarib” regional program, implemented by the French Media Development Agency (CFI) and funded by the French Development Agency (AFD), the new project aims to establish a network of organizations and individuals to combat the spread of misinformation and disinformation by promoting pre and post-fact-checking best practices and methodologies.
The webinar, set to be held on Jan. 11, 2022, provides the opportunity to learn more about the project’s goals and activities.
The invitation to attend the webinar is open to all media institutions, fact-checking initiatives, and freelance journalists and fact-checkers in the four target countries.
