African and Chinese journalists are invited to apply for a free workshop.
The Africa-China Reporting Project (ACRP) and the China Africa Research Initiative (SAIS-CARI) will hold the Journalism Workshop on China’s Overseas Lending virtually on June 14.
The workshop will use the case of the Standard Gauge Railway (SGR) project in Kenya and offer practical guidance to journalists who seek a deeper understanding of Chinese lending in order to produce more accurate and insightful journalism.
Applicants must list previous Africa-China reporting and explain their interest in Chinese overseas lending.
The deadline is June 4.
