Francophone students who are college seniors can compete.
Tournez S'il Vous Plaît (TSVP), in partnership with France 3's regional network, has launched the Graine de Doc competition to identify new documentary talent and offer them a springboard into filmmaking.
This year, the proposed documentary can address borders in their multiple forms: territorial, social, identity, virtual, or between generations.
The winner will benefit from a grant to produce a first documentary which will be broadcast by a partner.
Contestants do not have to be nationals of a French-speaking country but must be able to present their project in French.
The deadline is May 12.
