Interested journalists, scholars and researchers can register for this online course in Spanish.
The Center for Digital Journalism at the University of Guadalajara will offer an online course on election coverage Oct. 19 to Nov. 22 with instructor Sandra Crucianelli.
Participants will develop criteria and strategies to cover electoral processes, including preparing interviews with candidates and establishing an agenda in accordance with citizens' interests. They will also receive training to detect fraud and manipulation in electoral polls.
Registration costs MXN1,800 for residents in Mexico and US$90 for foreign participants.
The deadline to register is Oct. 4.
