Journalists in Latin America with al least seven years of experience in investigative journalism can apply for this online training in Spanish.
Fundación Gabo, with support from Centroamérica Cuenta and Cooperación Suiza en América Central, is organizing the the workshop "Investigative journalism in the context of the pandemic" Oct. 5 to16.
Participants will explore how to give visibility to the multiple effects of the coronavirus pandemic, including the weakness of Latin American institutions and the vulnerability of women, environmental activists, sexual minorities and more.
The instructor is journalist Mónica González.
Twenty journalists will be selected. The tuition fee is US$80.
The deadline is Sept. 20.
