Cosecha Anfibia program for leading journalists open [Latin America]

Journalists in a leadership role in news organizations or communication teams in civil society organizations, academic or research institutions in Latin America can apply for this training in Spanish.

Revista Anfibia, Cosecha Roja, Cronos and Open Society Foundations are launching the first edition of the Cosecha Anfibia Scholarship, a training program for experienced journalists that promotes reflection on the profession and contemporary thinking.

From Aug. 26 to Dec. 16, selected candidates will receive training from a variety of international authors and experts, as well as writing tools. Each fellow will write an essay on the future of journalism that will be published on the site of Revista Anfibia and in a book to be released in 2021.

Six full and 10 partial scholarships will be awarded. Those who obtain a partial scholarship will pay ARS140,000 (US$2,300) to attend the program.

The deadline is July 24.
