Journalists from Algeria, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Sudan and Yemen can apply for this program.
In partnership with the Facebook Journalism Project (FJP), The International Center (ICFJ) is offering a combination of grants, webinars and professional mentorship to support reporters as they navigate the challenges associated with COVID-19, as part of the Social Media Solutions program.
Selected journalists will receive a US$2,500 grant to produce stories related to COVID-19 and its effects. They will also receive a mentor to help them develop their stories for a period of two months.
The deadline to apply is June 12.
