Aspiring environmental reporters can apply to cover the upper Great Lakes region.
Interlochen Public Radio is offering a one-year environmental reporting fellowship in Interlochen, Michigan.
Responsibilities include producing environmental news stories for public radio audiences; helping revive and produce the weekly feature segment Points North; working with other news organizations; and pitching stories to NPR.
Candidates must have a demonstrated history of enterprising environmental journalism, preferably in public radio, and knowledge of environmental and natural resource issues, conservation and natural sciences.
The deadline is June 15.
