Aspiring journalists from several countries can apply for a foreign correspondents’ program in Finland.
ThisisFINLAND program, sponsored by the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland, provides an opportunity for students to learn about the work of a correspondent in a foreign country and experience Finnish society.
This year's program will take place June 7 to 13 and focus on climate diplomacy and Finnish solutions for reaching carbon neutrality by 2035 and Finland’s foreign policy.
The program is open to citizens from the following countries: Argentina, Australia, Chile, Ethiopia, Tanzania, Angola/Namibia, Tunisia, Israel, Belarus, Uzbekistan, Turkey, Hungary, Poland and the United Kingdom. Applicants must be fluent in English.
The scholarships cover flights, accommodation, meals and events.
The deadline to apply is March 19.
