Young filmmakers, students and recent graduates from film and media academies in Germany and the Arab world can enter this contest.
The Robert Bosch Foundation grants film prizes for international cooperation between young German and Arab filmmakers to realize a joint film project.
The prizes, each worth up to EUR60,000 (US$66,905), are awarded for a short animation, short fiction film and short or feature-length documentary.
The contest is open to mixed teams of German and Arab filmmakers. Films should focus on an aspect of intercultural exchange.
To facilitate the team-finding process, Arab directors will be invited to the Project Market Amman to meet German producers. The Robert Bosch Foundation will cover travel, accommodation and meals for participants.
The deadline is July 31.
