IWMF Adelante reporting fellowships Deadline: July 4, 2017
Women journalists worldwide can apply for an all-expenses-paid reporting fellowship to El Salvador and Guatemala from the International Women’s Media Foundation (IWMF)’s Adelante initiative. The reporting trips include a comprehensive security training and an orientation in Mexico City. During the trip, fellows will focus on covering underreported stories in the destination countries. Future of Storytelling Prize Deadline: July 7, 2017

TruthBuzz: The Viral Fact-Checking Contest Deadline: July 9, 2017
Journalists, technologists and more can enter their best viral fact-checking solutions the International Center for Journalists’ TruthBuzz competition. Entries can be any type of digital-media creation, and will be evaluated based on their originality and potential to help audiences differentiate fact from fiction and spread the word widely. Women Photograph Mentorship Program Deadline: July 15, 2017
Women, female-identifying and nonbinary photographers can apply for Women Photograph’s 2017 Mentorship Program, which pairs emerging female photographers with industry leaders for one year. Mentors come from leading outlets like National Geographic, NPR, The New York Times and The Guardian, in addition to photographers who are the recipients of the Pulitzer Prize, Guggenheim Fellowships and World Press Photo awards.
