Student journalists can apply for a scholarship to attend a conference.
The Society of Professional Journalists (SPJ) offers a scholarship for a journalist to attend MediaFest25, which will be Oct. 15 to 18 in Washington, D.C.
The Robert D.G. Lewis First Amendment Award is open to students who have demonstrated outstanding service to the First Amendment through the field of journalism.
The scholarship recipient will receive convention registration and a US$350 travel stipend.
Applicants must be current SPJ members.
The deadline is June 1.
