Science journalists can apply for reporting grants.
The Good Science Project–Johns Hopkins MA in Science Writing Fellowship seeks to award four reporting grants. The program aims to improve science journalism and science itself by providing reporting grants for feature-length magazine articles on the funding and practice of science in the United States.
Grants will support articles that reveal flaws in current science policy, practice, or funding and identify ways these challenges might be overcome.
Interested applicants must submit a well-researched story pitch.
Grantees will receive US$5,000 each.
The deadline is Nov. 15.
