Journalists reporting on mental health can compete for this prize.
The Brazilian Association of Psychiatry (ABP) is seeking entries for its 11th ABP Journalism Prize.
The competition honors mental health stories that help counter and demystify stigmas related to mental health conditions and psychiatry.
Eligible stories must have been published between Aug. 10, 2024 and Sep. 15, 2026. Journalists can submit their pieces to any of the six categories: newspaper/magazine, online media, radio, television, podcast/YouTube channel and influencer.
Winners of each category will receive BRL7,000.
The submission deadline is Sept. 15.
