Climate journalists, researchers and media professionals from Eastern Europe and the Caucasus can submit their ideas.
n-ost is seeks proposals for its climate journalism conference, which will be held August 27 to 29 in Tbilisi, Georgia. Participants will discuss how to render the climate crisis a relevant topic on the region´s public agenda.
This event is organized ahead of the COP29 conference that will take place in Baku, Azerbaijan, in November 2024 and offers an opportunity to give a fresh impetus to climate communication in the region.
Possible questions to be discussed include which topics are central to local climate change reporting, what role propaganda and disinformation play in the climate debate, which journalistic formats we need to get the audience interested in climate policy, and more.
The deadline is March 15.
