Early-career journalists from Romania and Moldova can apply.
The Ratiu Forum, a joint initiative between the Ratiu Family Charitable Foundation, the Ratiu Democracy Center, and the London School of Economics' IDEAS think tank, is now accepting applications for its mentorship program for journalists who want to advance their professional skills and understanding of the Central and East European region.
The program includes online sessions and one in-person workshop in Turda, Romania.
Participants will learn from experts on topics relevant to the Central and East European region and develop key competencies needed for professional journalism and investigative work, such as pitching, writing, and investigative skills while covering topics such as the war in Ukraine, propaganda and disinformation, gender politics, and the state of democracy in Eastern Europe.
The deadline is Dec. 15.
