Indigenous reporters focusing on public interest topics who wish to hone their investigative journalism skills can apply for this program.
Agência Pública is seeking applicants for its Indigenous Reporters Training Program. Six participants will receive a BRL8,000 reporting grant and attend mentoring sessions and a one-week workshop series at Agência Pública's newsroom in São Paulo.
Candidates must submit a story pitch addressing the several threats to Indigenous people and their lands.
The application deadline is Dec. 1.
