The Society of Environmental Journalists (SEJ) is accepting submissions for its annual recognition of excellence in environmental reporting. International journalists are also encouraged to enter, but if their work is written in a language other than English, they must include an English translation with their entry. GroundTruth Project Fellowship, Deadline April 3, 2015
The GroundTruth Project, with support from the Correspondents Fund, seeks applicants for its third annual reporting fellowship. Proposed story angles should cover themes that often go unreported amid the war, such as life, education and culture in the region. Budgets for reporting projects should not exceed US$10,000. National Endowment for Democracy media project grants, Deadline April 3, 2015
The National Endowment for Democracy (NED) is seeking proposals for projects that advance democratic goals and strengthen democratic institutions. Grant amounts vary depending on the size and scope of the projects, but the average grant lasts 12 months and is around US$50,000. Click here for more information.
