IJNet seeks Disarming Disinformation intern [US]

Students enrolled in college or university, or recent graduates in the U.S. can apply for an internship.

The International Center for Journalists (ICFJ) is hiring an intern to work with the International Journalists’ Network (IJNet) under ICFJ’s Disarming Disinformation program. This internship will have a specific focus on fighting disinformation.

The intern will gain experience in digital publishing and international journalism through tasks that involve managing social media, designing and coordinating engagement activities, tracking analytics and evaluating audience growth. The intern will also contribute written and multimedia content for publishing on IJNet’s website.

The 12-week internship begins in August.

The successful candidate will work up to 35 hours per week and receive US$17.50 per hour.

Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.
