Posted on 8 déc 2022 dans Specialized Topics

Teenage journalists, 13 to 19, anywhere in the world can enter a storytelling contest.

The Writing’s on the Wall project is accepting entries for the Climate Champion Profiles Storytelling Competition. The contest invites teenage journalists to profile someone who has made an impact through one or more projects focused on saving the planet.

Individuals profiled should be making a difference in stopping climate change by launching or carrying out projects that make real progress toward removing carbon, lowering emissions or passing climate change legislation.

Teenage journalists can enter individually or as a team of two.

Entries must be in English and in the format of text, video, a podcast or multimedia. Entries must be submitted by a teacher or journalism coordinator on behalf of the author(s).

The first and second place winners will receive US$500 each, coaching and publication by News Decoder, a global nonprofit educational news service based in Paris.

The deadline is March 1, 2023.
