Experienced journalists working in the Asia Pacific region can apply for a training program.

As part of its Advancing News Diversity in Asia (ANDA) project, the Asian American Journalists Association’s Asia Chapter (AAJA-Asia) invites journalists to apply for a special Training of Trainers (ToT) program and become Gender Balance and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) trainers.

The ANDA project was launched in 2021 with the aim of providing an Asian perspective on DEI in the news media industry.

The training program features a series of six four-hour online sessions and offline assessments that will be taught by WIN experts between Nov. 18 and Dec. 3.

Selected participants will have the opportunity to build their skills to deliver high-quality creative training for spreading the culture of gender balance and DEI in content, policies and media organizational structures.

Interested applicants can join a free, one-hour Ask Me Anything online session on Nov. 3 to learn more about this opportunity and DEI in news.

Apply by Nov. 7.
