Citizen journalists from Suriname, Guyana, and Trinidad and Tobago with an interest in climate reporting can apply for a virtual fellowship.

Climate Tracker, with support from The Cropper Foundation, is offering the Citizen Climate Journalism Fellowship to train citizen representatives from selected Caribbean countries to build their capacity to communicate climate change.

During the two-month learning a publishing journey, the fellowship will cover climate change in the Caribbean context; understanding the keys to effective climate journalism; linking community work with climate reporting; and more.

Participants will receive a stipend for their published story.

The deadline is Sept. 30.
