Journalists, researchers and civil society investigators can apply for this free online training.
In collaboration with Exposing the Invisible as part of the “Collaborative and Investigative Journalism Initiative” (CIJI) funded by the European Commission, Tactical Tech is hosting a two-week online summer school to learn about investigating the political influence industry and how personal data and data-driven technologies are used to influence voters, elections and political processes.
The online sessions will be a mix of lectures, seminars and hands-on workshops, running over six half days between July 18 to 29. The summer school will also feature networking and skill-sharing opportunities among participants.
Applicants from around the world can apply, but Latin American participants are particularly encouraged to apply.
Applicants will be accepted on a rolling basis.
The deadline is July 4.
