Jakarta-based journalists with experience reporting on scientific and/or environmental topics can apply for this media workshop.

Internews’ Earth Journalism Network (EJN) is organizing a three-day workshop, May 30 to June 1,  to help journalists secure deep insights into the science of air pollution, its sources, its health impacts and key solutions to address it. EJN will facilitate interactions with subject specialists and importantly, communities that face real-life challenges from air pollution.

Women and early-career journalists are particularly encouraged to apply. EJN will provide meals and reimburse all participants for local travel expenses.

Interested applicants must commit to attending all days of the workshop and be able to communicate in Bahasa Indonesia.

The application deadline is May 6.
