Journalism students enrolled at colleges and universities in the United States can apply for a fellowship.

The National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ), in partnership with Comcast NBCUniversal, is offering the 2022 NABJ-NBC News Summer Fellowship. The program gives students real-world experience and exposure to one of the world's leading News Divisions, which includes NBC News, MSNBC and CNBC.

NBCUniversal will offer fellows the opportunity to join one of NBC programs or platforms for summer 2022 as interns. NBC’s shows and platforms include The Today Show, Nightly News with Lester Holt, Dateline, MSNBC, CNBC and NBC News Now.

Interested applicants must be current NABJ members.

The ten-week fellowship begins June 6. Selected fellows will receive US$16.50 an hour, plus overtime (over 40 hours per week).

The application deadline is Feb. 18.
