The Center for Collaborative Investigative Journalism will support two water-related stories that combine data, visual and investigative elements.
Proposals should draw on the datasets OpenUp has already assembled or another dataset of their choice.
Candidates from Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Côte d'Ivoire, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Kenya, Lesotho, Liberia, Madagascar, Malawi, Mali, Mozambique, Niger, Nigeria, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Gambia, Togo or Zambia are encouraged to apply.
Grantees will receive US$2,100.
The deadline is Dec. 18.
