Journalists from Georgia, Moldova, Azerbaijan and Armenia with at least two years of experience can apply for this course.
The Thomson Reuters Foundation and the Sabin Vaccine Institute are organizing an online seminar for journalists reporting on immunization and vaccines. The program will be held from Nov. 16 to 25.
The seminar will be conducted in English and Russian. The course Instructors are Thomson Reuters journalists, researchers and healthcare professionals.
Topics include the role of vaccination in the sustainability of healthcare systems and the media role and responsibility in disseminating information, raising awareness and combating false information.
Applicants must have a good command of spoken and written Russian and English.
The deadline is Oct. 11.
