The Washington Post is looking for a China bureau chief, who will be the senior correspondent on a Washington Post team responsible for covering all aspects of China.

In addition to reporting and writing, the bureau chief oversees bureau operations and serves as a liaison to the Chinese government.  

Candidates must have a record of accomplishment and agility in covering stories across a broad range of subject areas. The strongest candidates will already be deeply experienced in covering China for a major English-language news organization. Chinese-language skills are highly appealing but not required.
