Contest recognizes mental health reporting [UK]

Media professionals, organizations and students who report responsibly and sensitively on mental health issues can compete for an award.

The Mind Media Awards, organized by nonprofit Mind, celebrate the best reporting and portrayal of mental health in print, broadcast and digital media. 

Awards will be granted in 11 categories including news and current affairs program, journalist, student, documentary, podcast and digital champion.

Works must have aired or been published in the United Kingdom between June 18, 2018 and June 17, 2019.

Winners will be announced on Nov. 13 at an award ceremony that will bring together celebrities, industry professionals and people who have shared their personal experiences through the media.

The deadline is July 17.
