University students from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, United Kingdom, Ukraine and the United States can participate in this summer program.
The Journey Program is an intensive summer course organized by the Bakala Foundation. The training will take place Aug. 5 to 15 in Prague.
The program offers interactive seminars conducted by professional journalists on topics including identifying, cultivating and effectively using sources, navigating social media and verifying information, as well as practical exercises including real-time field reporting.
Students accepted into the program will receive a full scholarship covering travel expenses, room and board, cost of visa and study materials.
Applicants must have completed a minimum of two academic semesters and be proficient in English.
The deadline to apply is April 30.
