Mid- to senior-level journalists specialized on public health topics can apply for a free training on data use.
Vital Strategies is organizing a training program "Effective use of data in public health journalism" Feb. 26 to 28, 2019 in Goa, India.
The workshop will build the data use skills of a select group of 15 to 20 journalists.
Candidates must work for established media outlets in India, have produced stories on public health topics and have a specific idea for a data-rich public health story they want to develop.
The deadline is Dec. 15.
