IJNet is joining forces with Mashable, a leading source for digital news and culture, to bring IJNet's news for journalists to a new platform.

IJNet is a launch partner in the new Mashable Publisher Platform, which will bring the best content from select publishers directly to Mashable’s community. We're excited that this platform will let us introduce our authoritative news and tips for journalists to an even wider audience.

“As our community grows and digital continues to transform society in new ways, we want to offer more content that dives deeper into the topics that matter to our readers,” said Adam Ostrow, executive editor and senior vice president of content, Mashable. “To achieve this we are bringing content from a select group of media partners who have expertise in specific topic areas directly to our community on Mashable.com, across our social channels and on our apps.”

The Mashable Publisher Platform stands apart from other content syndication offerings because of its integrated social sharing, its ability to directly grow each publisher’s social media following and Mashable’s influential community.

Key features of the Mashable Publisher Platform include:

  • Social Subscription: Prominent display and promotion of publisher’s Facebook and Twitter presences alongside its articles on Mashable.com, allowing readers to directly subscribe to the brand’s social feeds.
  • Integration into Mashable Follow: Each participating publisher's brand and content will be integrated into Mashable Follow, allowing more than 500,000 Mashable Follow users to subscribe directly to the Publisher's content on Mashable; to view all of its content on Mashable in one place; and directly follow each publisher’s content on Mashable.
  • M-Share: Mashable’s one-click M-Share button on articles will increase sharing of publisher content across social networks.
  • Email Newsletters: Promotion of publishers’ content in Mashable’s email newsletters.

Since launching in 2005, Mashable has become one of the most influential online news sites, winning three Webby Awards and becoming the largest independent news site reporting on digital culture and technology.

The other launch partners are AppAdvice, Causecast, ClickZ, GeekSugar, paidContent, Pocketnow, PSFK and UX Magazine.

The new platform will launch next week.
