The women's media network World Pulse has released a slew of free resources for citizen journalists, on topics that range from writing to social media.
The materials come from the organization's Voices of our Future project, an online training program in citizen journalism as well as activism. Although the program is designed specifically for women, the material is useful for anyone starting out in journalism or multimedia.
The modules, posted as PDF documents, include ethical guidelines; effective use of Facebook and Twitter and how to create multimedia content.
