Journalists and filmmakers around the world can apply for this fund to support their climate story projects.
The Doc Society Climate Story Fund is accepting applications for 2025 to support powerful storytelling that highlights the interconnectedness of life and demonstrates how climate action can lead to a more equitable, resilient and abundant future.
The fund provides up to US$125,000 per project to support either the completion of production for nonfiction media projects or impact pilot initiatives for completed non-fiction and fiction projects.
The fund seeks stories that challenge traditional narratives and ignite action, reaching audiences through diverse perspectives and genres. It is looking for stories that are created by and about diverse, underrepresented communities and can engage different audiences.
Interested applicants can attend an information webinar on Feb. 26.
Apply by March 10.
