The Jordan Media Institute offers a scholarship to Palestinian female journalists to pursue master's degrees in journalism and new media studies in the academic year 2024/2025. The scholarship honors Palestinian journalist and Al Jazeera reporter Shireen Abu Akleh, who was killed in the Jenin refugee camp while reporting live on May 11, 2022.
Applicants must be Palestinian female journalists working in the media field and meet the criteria outlined in the Institute’s admission requirements. The online application must include all the required documents.
The scholarship covers tuition and accommodation expenses in Amman, Jordan.
