Media camp on investigating war crimes accepting applications [Ukraine]

Journalists from Ukrainian regional online publications can apply.

n-ost is organizing a media camp on investigating war crimes Oct. 13 to 18 in the Ivano-Frankivsk region of Ukraine.

The program offers an opportunity to learn from experts like The Kyiv Independent’s Yevheniia Motorevska, Elena Loginova from the Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project, and Svitlana Oslavska from The Reckoning Project: Ukraine Testifies.

Topics include skills in documenting war crimes, ethical interviewing and verification of information.

Participation is free. The organizers will cover travel, accommodation and meals for selected participants, and offer up to EUR500 to implement their projects.

The deadline is Sept. 15.
