The Knight Center for Journalism in the Americas is offering the course "How to protect your stories from lawsuits."
The four-week online course will be held Nov. 20 to Dec. 17.
Students will learn the best practices to prevent lawsuits or to increase the chances to win a court case. The course will also cover how to keep documents used in their reporting process, Access to Information Act, right to privacy, source protection, among others.
