Amazônia Vox is offering a free online training for journalists and communicators based in the Legal Amazon Region in Brazil (Acre, Amapá, Amazonas, Maranhão, Mato Grosso, Pará, Rondônia, Roraima and Tocantins).
The series of six online sessions will cover topics such as content planning and management with a focus on environmental issues; content creation and engagement in social media; ethics of AI; combating disinformation; how to apply for reporting grants and fellowships; regional podcasting; and how to avoid reproducing biases towards the Amazon region.
At least five participants from each state in the Legal Amazon will be selected to attend the sessions.
The registration deadline is July 1.
