Journalists can register to attend the free livestreaming of a journalism conference in Sofia, Bulgaria.
The World Press Institute (WPI), with support from the America for Bulgaria Foundation and the Association of European Journalists - Bulgaria, organizes the second annual New Horizons in Journalism Conference.
The conference will be livestreamed via YouTube on Dec. 1.
Topics for discussion include: disinformation and the role of the journalist; combating disinformation and propaganda; examining SLAPP lawsuits and their threat to press freedom; and exploring the future of local journalism.
The conference will be conducted in English with live Bulgarian translation.
