Learners will analyze news gathering case studies and have lessons on the process of pre-research, story outline and news gathering; news gathering techniques such as documental research, news gathering on the field, database research, interview, events coverage and social media monitoring; and the legal and ethical aspects of news gathering.
The course instructor is journalist Taís Seibt, education head at Fiquem Sabendo and founder of Afonte Jornalismo de Dados.
