Journalists from selected South Asian countries can apply to participate in this workshop in Nepal.
The Third Pole is hosting a workshop in Nepal between October 18 to 20 to enable journalists to develop stories on the fragility and resilience in the Hindu Kush Himalayas in the face of climate change.
The workshop will include a field trip, discussion sessions with experts, and professional development sessions with The Third Pole’s editorial team on developing a perfect pitch, writing ethically about the experiences of underrepresented groups, and using multimedia to help tell the story.
Successful applicants will have expenses covered by The Third Pole, including travel, visas, pick-up and drop-off, accommodation, meals, and a field trip.
Journalists with a proven interest in writing about climate change in the Hindu Kush Himalayas are welcome to apply.
