JX Fund for journalism in exile [Europe]

Publicado en May 18, 2022 en Media Sustainability

Journalists from European countries who have fled war and crisis zones can apply for assistance.

Reporters without Borders (RSF), in partnership with the Rudolf Augstein Foundation and the Schöpflin Foundation, launches the JX Fund, a European fund for journalism in exile.

The JX Fund will enable journalists to continue their editorial work after they had to leave their home country, whether that may be in Germany or third countries within Europe.

In addition, the JX Fund supports individual journalists as well as editorial offices with financial aid and resources such as work space and technical equipment.

The fund aims to strengthen independent media in exile beyond a current phase of high attention and to support the building of sustainable media outlets accessible for their home countries.

Interested journalists and media outlets should contact the JX Fund for assistance.
