Journalists who cover religion can compete.

The Association of Religion Information Journalists (AJIR) is accepting entries to its annual award for young journalists.

The award aims to increase awareness of the importance of religions and spiritualities as an essential key to understanding our current world: daily life, secularism, societal issues, the quest for meaning, cults and geopolitics.

Candidates must cover a topic in France revealing a trend related to religion. The work can be a news story, a narrative story, a portrait or an investigation. Interviews are not eligible.

The winner will receive EUR600, and the winning piece may be published by some of AJIR's members.

The deadline is June 15.
