John Kluver

ICFJ Knight Fellow John Kluver is a veteran TV journalist who has specialized in covering Russia and the former Soviet Union for more than 25 years. He began his career with CNN in 1987 and for many years was CNN's Moscow-based photographer and editor. Kluver also has written and produced high-quality television series and documentaries for BloombergTV.

As an ICFJ Knight Fellow, Kluver is helping to transform Kazakh TV into a first-class public broadcaster with more enterprise reporting and high-quality production. He also will introduce local journalists to the latest tools and technologies to improve their work.
