World Nomad travel documentary scholarship, Deadline: Sept. 7, 2015
Aspiring documentary makers can apply for a mentored trip to capture the culture and the communities of Colombia’s Pacific Coast. The trip will take place Nov. 21 to Dec. 3. Health reporting fellowship to cover Malaria, Deadline: Sept. 14, 2015
Journalists based in the United States, Africa, Asia and Europe can apply for this fellowship from the International Center for Journalists and Malaria No More. The program will allow five U.S. journalists and four global journalists (from Africa, Asia and Europe) to travel to Thailand for a five-day study tour focusing on the causes, treatments, prevention and impact of malaria in Asia and around the globe. TED fellowships, Deadline: Sept. 20, 2015
Media entrepreneurs, human rights activists and photographers can apply for a TED fellowship to attend a conference in Vancouver, Canada. Twenty fellows will be selected to attend the TED conference to be held Feb. 15 to 19, 2016. Participants will also have the opportunity to attend pre-conference programs with training by speakers. GroundTruth reporting fellowships, Deadline: Sept. 22, 2015
The GroundTruth Project is seeking candidates for up to five reporting fellowships in November 2015. Fellows will travel to France to cover the 2015 Paris Climate Conference in December and work with the GroundTruth team to shape an in-depth, multimedia package to be reported over the next three years.
