At the Online News Association conference in Chicago last week, Meredith Artley moderated a session on “lady leaders" in the media world.

Artley, who is the managing editor of CNN Digital, joked that the word “lady” might remind some people of pantyhose, but the females on the panel certainly didn't talk about clothing during the hour-long session called Lady Leadership Lightning Talks.
