The editor will develop, implement, monitor and improve social media strategies to increase the outlet’s reach and impact. The European Geosciences Union is accepting applications for the 12th edition of its Science Journalism Fellowship competition. Journalists interested in covering research of Earth, planetary or space sciences will have the opportunity to follow geoscientists on location and develop an in-depth understanding of their research questions, approaches and more. Fellows will receive up to EUR5,000 to cover project-related expenses.

Filmmakers ages 25 and younger are invited to submit films on migration, diversity, social inclusion and prevention of xenophobia to the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations and the International Organization for Migration’s PLURAL+ Youth Video Festival. Entries must be less than 5 minutes long, include English subtitles and be produced after Jan. 1, 2020.
