Training on children and the Syrian refugee crisis Deadline: October 1, 2018

The Dart Center for Journalism and Trauma will host the workshop "Covering children and the Syrian refugee crisis" Jan. 20 to 23, 2019 in Amman, Jordan for journalists that have been covering the crisis and issues connected to it. Getty Scholar residency grant Deadline: October 1, 2018

The Getty Foundation created the Getty Scholar Grants for researchers who would benefit from pursuing their own projects free from academic obligations. Recipients will receive housing at the Getty Research Institute or Getty Villa in Los Angeles. Click here to learn more.

Human rights fellowships Deadline: October 5, 2018

Photojournalism contest on underreported issues Deadline: October 7, 2018

The Carmignac Foundation will award photojournalists who wish to visit areas that are largely ignored by the mainstream media.
